I am Kim Mulder, School Counselor for Grades 7-12. I grew up in Orange City, IA graduating from Maurice-Orange City High School. I pursued my undergraduate degree at Northwestern College in Orange City graduating with a double major in Math and Business Education and a career concentration in secondary education. My first years of teaching were at Orchard Public School in Nebraska teaching junior high and high school math and computer, followed by several years teaching computer and keyboarding for the Brandon Valley School District in South Dakota. In December 1997, I completed a master’s degree in School Counseling through SDSU in Brookings and started at West Lyon in August of 1998.
