Career Openings

– K-12 Paraeducator:
Applications, using the staff form below, should be submitted to Doug Jiskoot, Principal or Tim Snyder, Elementary Principal. Positions will remain open until filled.

– Athletic Openings:
For available athletic openings, contact Jeremy Childress if interested.

– Full and Part-time Food Service Workers:
West Lyon has a variety of openings in its Food Service Department.  Click here for more details.

– Full-time Night Custodian:
Mail application and resume to Janet Feikema, Board Secretary, or email here.

– School Bus Driver
Open positions are for part-time drivers and substitute/activity drivers. Candidates must have or be able to obtain a Class B Commercial Driver License with a School Bus Endorsement and a passenger endorsement. Completion of a post offer/pre-employment drug-screening test is mandatory. Candidates must also obtain a Medical Examiners Certificate (DOT physical). Upon initial hire by the district, applicants must complete the state mandated School Transportation Operation Program, which is a seventeen hour bus driver training course.  No experience is necessary. The district is willing to train and assist qualified, interested applicants in getting their CDL and endorsements.  Contact Lucas Bouwman, if interested.
